We continually carry out rigorous testing across our range of steel doors, ensuring that industry safety thresholds are met and compliance standards are upheld.
But fixtures and fittings also need to conform to the same standard of thorough testing practices, otherwise the safety of the end product will be compromised.
All of our fixings used to install our doors into masonry or concrete structures are ETA approved to satisfy BS 8539.
So, what does this mean exactly?
ETA stands for European Technical Assessment, which ensures consistent testing standards of an anchor. Anchors are tested in oversized and undersized holes, as well as in differing substrates, embedment depths and carrying various loads. Anchors which conform to BS 8539 provides reassurance that the end product is both reliable and durable. Having ETA approved fixings is just one of the ways we are committed to providing the best quality products for our customers.
